Silas's Pick 'N Pull Junkyard
Silas Gilbert, an old grizzled hippy, runs a surprisingly large junkyard on Nightshade St, in which cars are stacked in a kind of maze, that is categorized in a way that only seems to make sense to himself. Despite that, Cars that are deemed ‘savable’ are all kept in the front, and cars that have been mostly picked through are in the back. Most junkyards will press these cars into cubes, but no such machinery seems to exist on site, but that place is not overrun with empty car shells.
Silas lives on site, and seems to have a great rapport with the younger set; there is some rumour he’s a pot dealer. He is also an adjunct literature teacher at the university. His poetry classes are always well attended, an ofttimes take place in his home.
